Extensive
experience working with children of all ability levels has
shown the advantage of having a structured learning
environment that allows children to learn at their own pace.
Ms. Wicklund believes many children experience difficulty
learning as a result of forcing them to conform to a
learning situation that does not adequately meet their
learning styles and needs. The Montessori approach meets
those learning needs and she is "thrilled to be involved in
an educational organization such as Quad City Montessori
School". Telephone: +1.563.355.1289

"And gradually we educators are confronted with a simple but important fact: that to help the child is not what he needs, and indeed that to give help is an impediment for the child. Therefore he must be allowed to act freely on his own initiative in this free environment."
- Dr. Maria Montessori, Four Planes of Education, AMI, 1971 (Edinburgh and London lectures), pg. 4
